On Saturday, December 6th, the annual Women’s Conference was held at the Cathedral of Ss. Peter & Paul. 225 women representing 54 different parishes across three states, enjoyed presentations from Heather Khym (Life Restoration Ministries and the Abiding Together podcast), Kristen Fisher (Enkindle Catholic), and music ministry led by Melissa Roberts. The day began with Mass celebrated by Bishop Bruce Lewandowski and included the Sacrament of Reconciliation. At least 120 women went to confession! Thanks to Fr. Henry Bodah, Fr. Robert Lacombe, Fr. Patrick O’Connor, Fr. Patrick Ryan, Fr. Eric Silva, and Fr. Thomas Woodhouse who made that possible. The women were also able to do some holiday shopping while supporting Catholic vendors from around New England.
We closed out the year with a final Glorify evening at Saint Martha Church in East Providence, RI. There were over 50 participants and it was great to see young people and their families gather together for a night of prayer, praise & community!
Being prepared for periods won't be a problem for the girls and moms who attended the Cycle Prep workshop on Saturday, May 10th at the Rejoice in Hope Catholic Center! Christina Valenzuela, Body Literacy Expert, explained the good work that girls' bodies do, what to expect when periods start, and how to navigate puberty.
Over 120 high school students, parents, and young adults gathered at the Cathedral for an inspiring evening with national Catholic speaker Jackie Angel, who delivered a powerful and thought-provoking talk on dating and marriage. Her message was both deeply moving and convicting, challenging attendees to reflect on their relationships and faith. The evening concluded with a time of Adoration and the opportunity for Confession, offering a spiritually-enriching experience for all who attended.
We held our annual Middle School Conference on Friday April 4th at Holy Apostles Church and welcomed national Catholic speaker, Jackie Angel!
