The Certificate in Catholic Theology is an eight-month program that provides the essential Catholic theological framework to understand the faith more fully. It provides the necessary vocabulary to explain, and defend the Catholic faith. It is an opportunity to learn and grow in discipleship, and discover the beauty of the Church’s intellectual tradition. The sessions are taught, one Saturday per month, by experienced professors and practitioners.

March 15Fr. Thomas Macdonald taught the March class for the Certificate in Catholic Theology program. The topic for the class was "The Liturgy and the Sacraments." The students benefitted from Fr. Macdonald discussing the concepts of liturgy, worship, sacrifice, as well as an overview for each of the seven sacraments of the Church. Fr. Macdonald is a priest of the Archdiocese of Boston and currently serves as Vice-Rector of St. John's Seminary in Brighton, Massachusetts.Read More
