May the Holy Spirit urge you on as you run this race. The Church needs your momentum, your intuitions, your faith. We need them! And when you arrive where we have not yet reached, have the patience to wait for us.’” -

The Church's Vision
The Church desires for young adults to participate in the life of the Church. Saint John Paul II, Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, and now Pope Francis have all called for a New Evangelization in the Catholic Church. This charge is for all baptized members of the Church to grow deeper in their faith and reach out to others to encourage them to have a relationship with Christ. Young adults, in particular, are invited to use their gifts, vitality, and enthusiasm to build the Kingdom of God, accompanying each other on the journey.

Our Vision
Our prayer is that young adults in their 20's & 30's, single or married, can find an authentic way to connect with Christ, grow in holiness through His Church and His Sacraments, and become strong Catholic men and women of faith in the vocation to which God calls them. As a team, we provide the young adults in our diocese with opportunities to encounter Christ, engage in the Sacraments, enjoy community events, participate in small group discipleship, attend retreats, and volunteer for service days.

December 6
On Saturday, December 6th, the annual Women’s Conference was held at the Cathedral of Ss. Peter & Paul. 225 women representing 54 different parishes across three states, enjoyed presentations from Heather Khym (Life Restoration Ministries and the Abiding Together podcast), Kristen Fisher (Enkindle Catholic), and music ministry led by Melissa Roberts. The day began with Mass celebrated by Bishop Bruce Lewandowski and included the Sacrament of Reconciliation. At least 120 women went to confession! Thanks to Fr. Henry Bodah, Fr. Robert Lacombe, Fr. Patrick O’Connor, Fr. Patrick Ryan, Fr. Eric Silva, and Fr. Thomas Woodhouse who made that possible. The women were also able to do some holiday shopping while supporting Catholic vendors from around New England.Read More -

Young adults from Ocean State Underground gathered at St. Mary's Mission for an evening of prayer, confession, and fellowship followed by dinner and drinks at Smokey Bones.Read More -

Over forty adults gathered in Mystic Connecticut for the Cider and Soul event, sharing a warm fall day of exploration, new friendship, and community.Read More -

The Chancery Day of Renewal and Diocesan Night of Renewal brought participants together to pray, reflect, and encounter Christ anew. Bishop Bruce A. Lewandowski, Father John Riccardo, and the ACTS XXIX team guided the gathering, insiring renewed faith and missin across the diocese.Read More -

Frassati Night, inspired by the Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati, brought together around 40 young adults for a joyful evening at Roger Williams Zoo Jack-o'-Lantern Spectacular and ending at The Brass Monkey.Read More
