    YOUTH EVANGELIZATION
"Each young person’s heart should thus be considered 'holy ground, a bearer of the seeds of divine life, before which we must 'take off our shoes' in order to draw near and enter more deeply into the Mystery."
      • Pope Francis, Christus Vivit
    • The Church's Vision

The Church recognizes Christ’s presence in the hearts of young people and those who accompany them. All are called to follow Christ’s example by listening, teaching, and sending each new generation in His name. In doing so, the Church renews its commitment to walk alongside youth and young adults. Effective youth discipleship must be dynamic and Spirit-led, where all generations and communities journey together toward a shared encounter with the living God.

    • Our Vision

To reach the next generation of young people, the Church must become a place where they feel valued and seen, focusing on relationships over programs. Youth ministry must embrace new methods like small discipleship groups, which foster authentic connections and allow for deeper faith formation. These groups, guided by adult mentors, help young people build friendships, grow in their relationship with Christ, and find relevance in both the Church and the world. Our team offers training, resources, and events to support this transformative approach.

  • Navigate College with Faith & Friends
    partnership with The Newman connection

    • Many Catholic students struggle to maintain their faith in college or the military, with over 80% drifting away. We are addressing this through local campus ministries and a partnership with Newman Connection, a nonprofit that connects students to Catholic communities on campus or base. Since 2009, Newman Connection has helped over 600,000 students grow in their faith and is endorsed by more than 115 dioceses. The goal is to ensure students don’t just keep their faith—they deepen it and become lifelong disciples.

        Final Diocesan Confirmation Retreat!
We held our final Confirmation retreat of the spring where 8 parishes were represented: Our Lady of Fatima, St. Barnabas, St. Mark, St. Anthony, St. Rocco, St. Joseph, St. Margaret and St. Elizabeth. This year's theme was Signed, Sealed, and Sent. Through engaging talks and activities, teens learned about the Rite of Confirmation and what will actually take place on their Confirmation day. We had many opportunities for prayer and reflection, especially time before the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, which was always the teens' favorite part of the day!
