November 15, 2025More than 80 Confirmation candidates from Holy Apostle, St. Mary, St. Sebastain, St. Mark, St. Joseph, and St. Rocco came together for a powerful retreat in the theme for the 2025-2026 season. Inspired by Acts 4:31, the retreat focused on the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. The scripture reads “When they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God with boldness.”
Just as fire illuminates, refines, and transforms, candidates were invited to kindle the fire of the Holy Spirit within. Through prayer, teaching, and spiritual encounters, they learned how to build a relationship with the Holy Spirit. Students received a renewed outpouring of grace and discovered the spiritual gifts and charisms that will help them live share the Gospel with boldness.
